Why Faith Fest?

In the middle of 2014, whilst I was in Ghana, at my good friend Dr. Mensa Otabil’s annual conference, as is my custom, I went on a long run. And is customary with me, prayer is a part of those long runs. 2014 marked a significant milestone in my own life, celebrating 40 years of ministry, but at the same time I was wrestling with my own insecurities. I was questioning where my own next steps were, and more significantly where our church, organization and country were heading into the future. And while on that run, the Spirit spoke to me “that 2015 was going to be a year of EXTRAORDINARY things, for me, for the people around us and our efforts. But that all these would be dependent on a person’s faith. And so you (Tudor) must gather people to a festival to increase their faith.” And thus the theme FAITH FEST was given for Jabula International Conference 2015.

What to expect at this year’s conference.

This year’s conference is going to be one big party! Faith comes by hearing, but faith also comes by action upon action. We want every person that will join us, both physically and online through our streaming service, to prepare their spirits in anticipation for what God is going to do. I believe that there are going to “Oh” moments, where God is going to take His hand off of things he has been keeping a mystery and reveal to us what HE has been working towards our God. And that is not all: God is going to elevate the faith of every person involved. He is going to remind us of the promises HE has set over our lives. And HE is going to create “doers” of His word, not just “hearers” of it. This year is going to be a celebration for what God has been doing and will do. Chichi and I want you all to come with old prophecies, promises, and dreams. God is going to take our belief in Him to another level. We will expect more and like never before!
